Serve Canada and Gilda's Club Gretaer Toronto are the primary charities selected to join the GET ConnectIT Extravaganza, to be held September 30, 2004, in Toronto.
The event, presented by Integrated mar.com Corporation, is expected to raise $300,000; net profit from all ticket sales throughout the event will be divided between the two charities.
According to Robert Cohen, President, Integrated mar.com, "As the computer and business communities begin to rebound, it is important that we give back to society. This event is designed to begin that process by focusing on registered Canadian charities."

On September 30th, Toronto’s fabulous Air Canada Centre will transform into a powerful networking tool for both the business-to-business and technological industries.
An estimated 18,000 attendees will experience The GET ConnectIT Extravaganza B2B Trade Show & Conference during the day and A Salute To Canadian Excellence in the evening.
The Salute will include:

· Appearance by the Barenaked Ladies, Jayne Eastwood and Deb McGrath
· Celebrity/NHL Legends hockey game, including members of Canada’s Gold medal Women’s Olympic team

Serve Canada engages youths 13-24 years old from diverse ethno-cultural and economic backgrounds in experience-based education, teamwork and community involvement so that they may establish personal direction, overcome obstacles, achieve goals and contribute to society.
Gilda’s Club is named for Gilda Radner who died of cancer in 1989. Founded in 1995, Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto is a free of charge and non-profit meeting place that offers support for men, women, and children living with cancer and their families and friends. Gilda’s Club works in partnership with a wide array of complementary services and agencies for cancer-related health care.
