Canada's business and IT community will come together for a trade show, conference and major charitable event in September, aimed at raising up to $300,000 for major Canadian charities!

Serve Canada and Gilda's Club Gretaer Toronto are the primary charities selected to join the GET ConnectIT Extravaganza, to be held September 30, 2004, in Toronto.

The event, presented by Integrated mar.com Corporation, is expected to raise $300,000; net profit from all ticket sales throughout the event will be divided between the two charities.

According to Robert Cohen, President, Integrated mar.com, "As the computer and business communities begin to rebound, it is important that we give back to society. This event is designed to begin that process by focusing on registered Canadian charities."

"We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting event in Toronto which will help us to raise necessary funds and community awareness for Gilda’s Club." says Larry Baldachin, Executive Director, Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto. "We appreciate the dedication of the business and high-tech communities towards our charity and salute their involvement."

Adds Melanie Stewart, Executive Director, Serve Canada, "It’s great to be involved in The GET ConnectIT Extravaganza which will bring much needed positive attention to these very important Canadian charities."

On September 30th, Toronto’s fabulous Air Canada Centre will transform into a powerful networking tool for both the business-to-business and technological industries.

An estimated 18,000 attendees will experience The GET ConnectIT Extravaganza B2B Trade Show & Conference during the day and A Salute To Canadian Excellence in the evening.

The Salute will include:

· Performances by Canadian Olympians

· Canadian IT Excellence Awards

· Appearance by the Barenaked Ladies, Jayne Eastwood and Deb McGrath

· Celebrity/NHL Legends hockey game, including members of Canada’s Gold medal Women’s Olympic team

· Charity casino, parties & more

GET ConnectIT Extravaganza represents a new kind of trade show - a short, focused, educational and enjoyable event that creates an ambiance conducive to mixing business with pleasure.

Serve Canada engages youths 13-24 years old from diverse ethno-cultural and economic backgrounds in experience-based education, teamwork and community involvement so that they may establish personal direction, overcome obstacles, achieve goals and contribute to society.

Gilda’s Club is named for Gilda Radner who died of cancer in 1989.
